It's a good start. You should definitely finish it.
Aside from being unfinished, the main thing that bothered me was the confusion bewteen Kaleb's daydreams and reality. The initial one is fine, the reader should be a little disoriented there. But the other daydreams should be clearly seperated, perhaps by making the daydreams all in italics.
I got lost when Kaleb was imagining going through his family tree, but going over it again I like that section. It's well-written and funny. You just need to excise the confusion.
But above all, finish it before you start revising.
