I'm not exactly a gambler. I am a man of luck and sometimes I rely on that.

Well, this story is about my D&D Character, turned primary NPC of my campaign. This deals with his backstory and sheds a little light on his motivations.

So ... here it is.

The XS Company first debuted in "The Errors of Our Employers." It isn't required reading for this story, but it does shed some more light on the colorful setting.

I'd say here's a cautionary tale about Corporate America, but that's not what this is about at all.
